How do I rewire a jenn air cooktop cartridge to work on an older range?

I have cartridges with 3 tabs and center assign. The older range has cartridges that use four tabs and center post.
The newer cooktop cartridges fit but not all the elements are heating duly.

You miss an adapter. Try contacting JennAir to see whether their parts department sells them. If you have an electrical outfitting house in your area ask if they have an adapter. You may find it easier to obtain the puff fitting that the cartridge fits into and installing that into the range and rewiring it in. I muse over we found the plug fitting at Dow Electronics.

Jenn-air cooktop - solvent to clean melted polyester fabric?

Forbear! there is a spot of melted polyester fabric on my jennair cooktop and I need to understand how to clean it off without ruining the cooktop surface. I accidentaly brushed against the burner after touching the saucepan off the cooktop. I was able to get most of it off while it was still hot/melted but there is some remaining. Any ideas of what would exertion?

Are you refring to a "silky top" cooking surface? If so, the thing to use is the razor scraper that came with the portion... If you don't have it, any flat razor SCRAPER will work... Must be the scraper, not a stab... Just angle it with the handle close to the top and gently junk.... That's how the manufacturers recommend cleaning burned on anything from the top.....

If it is not a soign top, I'm sorry, I'm not sure what to do.....

The lens turntable in my Goldstar microwave bankrupt. I have never heard of a platter breaking from reasonable use! Is this typical? Or does it show something reverse with my microwave? I was popping a bag of popcorn, and it was not finished popping. I put it back in the microwave, as any minute now as I turned the power back on... Smash!!! There went my glas turntable! I am getting rapid to buy a rplacement, but before I do, I perfectly wondered if someone may recognize if this indicates a more serious question that may necessitate a more primary patch up or segment replacement...
